With a batting average of .392 with 20 hits, 5 homers, 11 RBIs, and 11 runs scored in 13 games in the 2022 postseason, and he’s looking to lead the Phillies in their first World Series title since 2008.
So, in honor of Bryce Harper’s first appearance in the World Series and this excellent run, we’re breaking down some of the best Bryce Harper baseball cards to date.
Bryce Harper Rookie Cards
Bryce was drafted by the Washington Nationals in 2009, and made his big league debut in 2012, wasting almost zero time getting acclimated. In his first year, he had a batting average of .270 with 144 hits, 22 homers, 59 RBIs, and 98 runs scored in 139 games. Which earned him the honors of NL Rookie of the Year. Due to his popularity and the success he showed, these cards have become very popular.
2011 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs Bryce Harper
The 2011 Bowman Chrome Harper Prospect Card is one of the most beloved and coveted rookie cards featuring the slugger, and this is for two reasons. First, prospect cards have always garnered the attention of baseball card collectors. Secondly, scouts considered Bryce Harper one of – if not the best – prospect. Coupling that hype with a respected brand and the on-card signature makes for a fan-favorite in the hobby.
2012 Topps Archives Bryce Harper Rookie Card
Next up on our list is Bryce Harper’s 2012 Topps Archives Rookie Card. This is another excellent addition for any baseball card collection looking for a Bryce Harper rookie card on the roster. The first official rookie card to be released of Harper features an action shot of him during Spring Training. While it doesn’t have the auto like many other valuable rookie cards, it is one of the extremely short-printed options that provides some elevated value on the secondary market.

Bryce Harper’s 2012 Bowman Chrome Bryce Harper Rookie Card is a must-have for any Bryce Harper collector. The classic design of Bowman Chrome featuring the young Bryce Harper is one of the most valuable and sought-after cards to this day. It may not have the illustrious design of other cards on our list. However, the Bowman Chrome Harper RC still gets considerable attention due to the respected nature of Bowman Chrome.
2012 Topps Bryce Harper #661 Batting / Red Helmet RC
Topps Baseball gave us one of the most sought-after Bryce Harper RC with his 2012 Topps Bryce Harper #661 Batting Rookie Card. The red helmet version of the card with Harper up to bat is quite rare and fetches a nice price depending on how high that particular card is graded.
2012 Panini National Treasures Bryce Harper Rookie Card #160 Jersey
This high-end Bryce Harper rookie card from Panini National Treasures features a game-used patch. However, Panini’s lack of a license for the MLB sets a glass ceiling to how much collectors are willing to pay in the secondary market for it. Despite all of that, National Treasures still offers a quality product, and while it may not hold up the best on auctions, it would look great in a collection as more of a budget option.
2012 Topps Triple Threads Bryce Harper Rookie Card #129 Autograph Jersey #/99
Topps Baseball gave us one of the more uniquely designed autograph patch rookie cards with this Harper auto RC. 2012 Topps Triple Threads Bryce Harper Rookie Card is a horizontal card giving baseball card fans all of the elements worthy of the chase, an on-card signature partnered with three relic pieces.
Bryce Harper Philadelphia Phillies Baseball Cards
After his time in Washington, Bryce has since taken his talents to Philadelphia on a contract. Baseball fans in the city of Brotherly Love rejoiced knowing that they’ve added a perennial all-star capable of coming through in the clutch.
While his cards dawning the Philadelphia Phillies gear may not carry the same weight as his rookie cards in Washington, there are some that are worthy of attention and could be a potential investment.
Bryce Harper 2019 Panini Prizm Color Blast
Panini Prizm’s Color Blast inserts are fan favorites no matter the sport. So, when Bryce Harper was a part of that short list in it’s 2019 release, it was a forgone conclusion that baseball card fans will be on the hunt. It’s clean design with the splash of colors disseminating from behind an image of Harper after his swing makes for one of the best looking cards of his in recent history.
Bryce Harper 2022 Panini Absolute Kaboom!
Another quality insert is Bryce Harper’s Panini Absolute Kaboom! The Kaboom! insert is another top-tier modern card with a dynamic design with eye-popping colors surrounding an image of Harper at bat.
Bryce Harper is still one of the Major League’s biggest stars. While we may not know if he and the Philadelphia Phillies can capture the title of “the best team in the MLB” after the World Series, what he has managed to accomplish this season is nothing short of special.

With the MLB regular season over and two teams set to battle in the World Series, 2022 Topps Update Series Baseball is here to serve as the perfect way for baseball fans to celebrate the end of an amazing year.
What to Expect:
- Cards per pack: 14
- Packs per box: 24
- Boxes per case: 12
Base
2022 Topps Update Series Baseball features a massive 330-base card set with a focus on recently traded players and rookies who have made their debuts this season. You’ll want to keep your eyes out for potential big hits like Julio Rodriguez and Bobby Witt Jr.
Included in the base set are multiple parallels including the 1/1 Platinum and Printing Plates as well as the hobby exclusives Black Parallel and Clear Variation.
Inserts
The insert sets in 2022 Topps Update Series are pretty much in line with what we saw in Series 1. Some of the notable inserts include Diamond Greats Die-Cuts, which gets an additional 25 cards to its set. Generation Now adds 30 cards focused on the brightest young talent in the MLB. 1987 Topps Baseball returns and receives an update as well for its ode to the vintage look.
Autograph and Relics
While many of the inserts have autograph parallel, there are a bevy of other autograph and relic cards worth chasing.
For the autograph relics, All-Star Stitches Autographs are numbered to 25 or less featuring a signature and swatch from the fan favorites like Shohei Ohtani and Ronald Acuna Jr. Major League Material Relics also return with two parallels, Red (/25) and Platinum (1/1) featuring some of the elite ball players including Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (who is pictured below).
As for the relic only cards, you can find some great cards from Special Event Patch Manufactured Relics, Own The Name Nameplate Letter Relics, and others.

- 20 Years Of Greatness: The Best LeBron James Basketball Cards
We can all agree 20 years is a long time. LeBron James has been playing in the NBA for that long, and not only that he has managed to maintain a high level. As a high school phenom out Akron Ohio, with the highest expectations of any basketball prospect ever, James went on to be the number 1 pick of the 2003 NBA Draft and exceed every expectation the world set before him. Arguably the greatest basketball player ever in the conversation alongside the likes of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
With LeBron James entering his 20th season in the NBA, we take a look at some of the best LeBron James cards highlighting the legendary career of “The King” from rookie season to now.
2003-04 Topps Chrome Rookie Card
It’s probably best to start with draft night, and the 2003-04 LeBron James Topps Chrome rookie card captures the moment LeBron James became the Chosen One for the city of Cleveland.
Topps Chrome depicts James in his was dressed in his all-white suit holding the jersey that would one day be raised in the rafters. This LeBron James RC is considered to be one of the more valuable rookie cards and if graded highly would fetch a six to seven-figure auction price.
2003-04 Exquisite Collection LeBron James Rookie Patch Autograph Card
Certain cards are expected to be on this list and no LeBron James autographed card is more coveted to basketball card collectors than the 2003-04 Exquisite Collection LeBron James Rookie Card. The LeBron James Exquisite Collection rookie card was sold in auction for a staggering $5.2 million holding the record for the most expensive basketball card temporarily and the most valuable rookie card featuring LeBron to date.
The LeBron James 2003-04 Exquisite Collection is the most expensive card to date, and that’s not only due to it only being a “ultra-rare” signed rookie card. The Upper Deck Basketball card company produced a quality rookie card that features his signature and jersey patch. This recipe was destined for big auction prices and private sales.
2004-05 Upper Deck LeBron James Ultimate Signatures Logos Logoman
Another one the more valuable basketball cards of LeBron James’ young career is 2004-05 Upper Deck LeBron James Ultimate Signatures Logos Logoman card. This 1/1 card sold for $1,291,500 brokered by Goldin Auctions.
However This Upper Deck Ultimate Signatures LeBron James card is considered by many to be one of the more significant LeBron James autograph card. Not only is it an extremely rare card featuring LeBron James autographs and a NBA Logo patch. The card also highlights a young Bron in his second season, after winning Rookie of the Year and proving that he will be here to stay.
LeBron James 2008 Topps Chrome Refractor
At this point, LeBron James has begun his claim for the best basketball player in the world. While he has yet to achieve the ultimate goal of NBA Champion he does earn the title as the most valuable player in the NBA at the end of the 2008-09 season. Which also was the same time we see 2008 Topps Chrome Basketball hit the hands of local sports card and sports memorabilia stores everywhere.
This card makes our list not only for the time period of one LeBron’s monumental achievements, but it also depicts an image and action that is synonymous with the brand of LeBron James. The chalk toss is as iconic as the ability that LeBron touted on the court game after game, and being that Topps Chrome captured this not only in the base but also a colorful refractor that may not be one the more valuable high-end cards today, but it’s possible it could
2013 Panini Prizm LeBron James Base Card
After his first stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James made “The Decision” to send his talents to South Beach joining friends, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Together they combined forces to win 2 NBA Championships and LeBron James racked up 2 NBA Finals MVPs in the process. This time sparked a new chapter in the career of LeBron and in this period we got to see great-looking cards with him dawning new colors and jerseys that not many ever expected.
The 2013 Panini Prizm LeBron James Base Card is one of our favorite cards from LeBron James time in Miami and is due to the changing of the guard with the rise of Panini Prizm. While LeBron James doesn’t have a Panini Prizm RC, this card still represents the early years of one of the most popular brands today and it highlights James evolution as a young star in Cleveland to a champion in Miami.
2014 LeBron James Panini National Treasures Colossal Logoman
After his success with Miami Heat, LeBron James chose to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers to give them the one thing that the franchise and fan base lacked: an NBA Championship.
Panini Basketball highlights that period through what has been labeled as the ultra high-end product for big time sports card and basketball card collectors as well. The 2013 LeBron James Panini National Treasures Colossal Logoman card is no exception.
It’s a beautiful card with a very unique design. We love how the background is done with a black and white color scheme, which gives it a vintage look. The oversized logo patch itself is done in gold foil, and the lettering is done in silver foil. The overall effect is stunning!
2020-21 Panini Prizm Gold Prizm #1 LeBron James “Lakers Kobe Tribute“
This 2020-21 Panini Prizm Gold #1 autographed by LeBron James and Kobe Bryant is one of my favorite modern cards featuring LeBron James. While it may not be the most valuable, I believe in time that could all change due to the significance of the moment that was captured. For fans of basketball nothing hit harder than the untimely and tragic loss of Kobe Bryant. So, when LeBron took to the court for the first time to since and paid tribute to him by recreating one of the iconic dunks of Kobe Bryant’s career, the sentiment was felt throughout the arena and basketball landscape.
It’s amazing to see how one of basketball’s all-time greats story has developed before our eyes. Whether you’re just a fan of basketball or you have a love sports card, the truth remains that the value LeBron James has bought to the sports card world is only compared to the greats across all sports from Mickey Mantle in baseball to his predecessor, Michael Jordan. I’m not sure how much longer LeBron is looking to play basketball, but I’m glad we have relics like these cards to serve as mementos in a historic career.
