The biggest hits of July

Wow, you know what they say: Time flies when you’re at the National, and then you get sick for like a week because your body isn’t used to being outside and interacting with other humans, and then you have a bunch of work to catch up on. You know, that catchy little adage.

Not that we’re squared away and have our feet back under us, let’s recap July. It’d be an understatement to say it was a good month. Heck, it’d be an understatement to say it was a great month. We pulled some absolute monsters on Loupe in July.

Let’s look back on some of the best of the best.

Derek Jeter Diamond Icons 1/1 gold ink relic auto

Would it be alright with you if we started with a one-of-one? Kind of a shock to the system if we don’t ease into things. Casa pulled this monster gold ink autographed relic (shoe? glove?) of El Capitan. Jeets never looked so good.

Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow Obsidian Colorblasts

I’m gonna cheat a bit on the next one. Thanks to the magic of shoddy image editing, it’s a twofer. Heat Check pulled Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow Colorblasts last month. Marvel upon one of the best inserts out there, of two of the best QB rookies you could find.

Terry Bradshaw, Tom Brady, Joe Montana Flawless triple relic /5

One card, three of the best to ever do it. Terry Bradshaw, Tom Brady, and Joe Montana — all on one card out of Flawless. Hit Seekers pulled this beauty that’s numbered to 5, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a more legendary trio.

Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera Museum Collection auto patch booklet /5

Jeter’s back, but this time he brought the best reliever of all-time. Crackin’ Wax got into this Jeter/Rivera pinstripped auto patch booklet that’s numbered to 5 out of Museum Collection. That’s a lot of legend for one booklet.

Johnny Cash National Treasures 1/1 cut signature

This is the weirdest entry on the list, and it’s also my favorite. Ry$ opened a box of National Treasures and found Johnny Cash waiting for him. This one-of-one cut signature is one of the more memorable rips on Loupe just because it’s a Hall of Famer in a completely different field of entertainment.

Justin Herbert and Kyler Murray National Treasures RPAs

Let’s run it back with Ry$. He’s been busy opening National Treasures. Apart from the Johnny Cash sig up above, he also hit a Justin Herbert RPA and a Kyler Murray RPA. Bet big, win big.

Randy Johnson Topps Sterling triple patch auto /10

Big Unit, big card. Susie Sports hit this Randy Johnson triple patch auto numbered to 10 out of Topps Sterling. Just the mere sight of it makes pigeons tremble in fear.

Fernando Tatis Jr. Brooklyn Collection auto /5

How about a low-numbered rookie auto of one of the hottest players in all of baseball? That’s exactly what Casa stumbled upon the morning of July 4 when they found this stunner of a card. Not a bad way to kick off the premier summer holiday.

Truthfully, ten cards does not do justice to everything that happened on Loupe over the past month. You need to be in the streams and catching this fire as it’s pulled. It’s so much more magical that way. Also, you’re going to want to be sure to follow your favorite sellers on Instagram so you don’t miss anything they hit. Here’s a list of everyone:
