2021 Panini Mosaic Football is here! Which means fans like myself have two things to be amped about: This highly anticipated release, and the NFL Playoffs around the corner. Panini Mosaic Football’s debut was received with love last year, but it seems that this year could top that with new inserts and fresh faces in an elite rookie class.

Base Cards
The base card set features 300 cards with all the top stars and retired legends. Base rookies and Base Rookies Mosaic White return, but we see new additions with the Base Super Bowl MVPs Mosaic Gold this year. This brand new insert features some of the biggest names on the biggest stage, all of which were rewarded for it as Super Bowl MVP. Legendary names like Terry Bradshaw, Jerry Rice, and Tom Brady are all here.
Inserts
With 20 in every box, we are also seeing some brand new inserts join the release. Glass Mosaic, Storm Chasers, Masquerade Ballers are all introduced this year.
Busted is another insert that’s making its debut, and it could be one of the favorites as it shows love to the all-time greats inducted into the most prestigious clubs in all of sports. Check out this bust of Joe Montana that lives in Canton.
We also get the return of big-time inserts like Stare Masters, Straight Fire, and Center Stage, including other hobby exclusives.
Autographs
Finally, the autos from last year return, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth the chase. With a guaranteed two autographed cards in every box, you could pull some big-name stars like Jonathan Taylor and Cooper Kupp — who both had terrific seasons this year — in Autographs Mosaic. The likes of Micah Parsons, Trevor Lawrence, and DeVonta Smith are all found in Rookie Autographs Mosaic.
However, Mosaic is the rare product where signatures aren’t necessarily the focus. Mosaic is all about a huge base set with a ton of cool parallels that typically fall 15 to a box.
