The National has been nothing but fun times and good memories

Hello, friends — The Loupe team is checking back in from The National. It has been a whirlwind two days in Chicago. It feels like the show has been two weeks long, but it technically isn’t even half over yet. I am going to sleep for a million hours when I get home.

The Loupe booth has been constantly buzzing. We’re in the Breakers Pavilion ripping live and hanging out with the community. It’s so cool seeing sellers like HitNRun and Susie Sports holding streams straight from the showfloor. We have FreshPullZ hosting a special Friday Night Auction from our booth. Matty + Track Suit + Liveshow = Loupe Magic. Make sure to check that out tonight at 3pm Eastern.

It hasn’t been all convention center life though. The squad made our way to Wrigley yesterday to check out a Cubs game. It would’ve been neat to see Anthony Rizzo’s last game in a Cubs uniform, but Chicago kept him on the bench. We hoped he’d get put in for a pinch hit appearance, but it wasn’t meant to be. I guess the “We want Rizzo” chants from the right field bleachers didn’t do much to sway the manager’s mind.

Afterward, we had the Kentucky Roadshow Trade Night. Holy cow, what an absolute spectacle. Hundreds of people gathered in a ballroom, everyone wheeling and dealing to get the cards they’re after. It was a great reminder of the sort of spirit that makes the hobby so special.

We’ve also had a blast finally putting names to faces with so many of our sellers. A big priority this week has been just hanging out with them and getting to know everyone. Dinners, drinks — that sort of thing. Everyone has been so chill.

Now we’re playing split squad because half of our team is posted up at the Blowout booth. In case you haven’t heard, we’re giving Loupe users a $10 discount if they show the app on their phone. So, we’re at our booth, we’re at the Blowout booth — just constantly spreading the good word about Loupe.

Oh, important update from Wednesday’s blog. My Auston Matthews Young Guns popped a 10 at PSA. I’m quite pleased with that outcome. Drop festive emojis in the comments.

It’s about time to wrap this up. I’m writing it from table and there are so many people gathered to learn about Loupe. Craig’s ripping live right next to me, and we’ve got a crowd. Loupe works best when someone can just see it in action. It kinda all clicks.

Before we go, last opportunity to remind you that our community meetup is tonight, Friday July 30 at 8:30pm Central at Short Fuse Brewery. It’s a little under a mile away from the convention center. We hope to see everyone there!
